Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor as well as a producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. Her acting career started in the theatre. Then she appeared on various television series, independent films and mainstream films. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. On BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she was a character. Not only did she get praise from critics for her performance, but she also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995, she made her acting debut with The Tempest as Ariel. The actress has appeared in Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Film-wise, she's best known for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Also, she is well-known for her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
