Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American actress and singer. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). The mother of Kristen is Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen developed a talent for the arts at a young stage. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was just thirteen years old. Bell was later cast for newspaper ads and TV commercials. In the same year she began taking private acting lessons. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school and she took home the part as Dorothy. Bell studied music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell completed her studies in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play the role Becky on Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her debut on the credit screen playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. However, her scene was cut from the film, and her appearance was only as a credit. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
