Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, also known as Camila Cabello, was born on March 3, 1997, in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba. She is a Cuban-American actress, singer, and songwriter, and her name is pronounced "ca-meela ca-beyo." Cabello rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, but she established herself as a solo artist while still in the group. She has released several collaborations, including "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, which reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello left Fifth Harmony in 2016 and released her debut solo single, "Crying in the Club."
